Landing Craft
Hovercraft Rental now have a landing craft hire for commercial operations. The landing craft rental can be used to support the hovercraft, or work independently. With a low draught, and the ability to deliver cargo to drying areas, it provides a useful addition to any fleet.
At 43 feet long, and over 7 feet wide, it can carry up to 12 passengers or 5.5 tonnes cargo. Coded to MCA category 3, landing craft hire can be used for day and night operations.
With the armour removed, the weight of the craft light is below 10 tonnes, and the draught has been reduced to under 2 feet. This allows it to work as landing craft rental support for the hovercraft delivering more passengers and heavier loads.
Landing craft hire and landing craft rental provides a unique method of moving people and cargo in areas of shallow water. It is also an excellent platform to work next to the shore allowing easy access for workers and cargo.
