Hovercraft Rental have a wide range of turn key services with hovercraft to rent,  a workshop for hovercraft engineering and refurbishment, training to MCA approved standards with full certification and trained skippers and crew for all types of marine works.

Paul Gaughan Managing Director, started Hovercraft Rental as a commercial operator with offshore wind farm marine support contractors after introducing successful fast marine passenger craft operations on the River Thames.

Hovercraft Rental operate the only two MCA approved commercial hovercraft in the UK carrying from 8 to 32 passengers with the ability to operate virtually anywhere. With Paul’s commitment to support the United Kingdom’s drive towards green energy and with the construction and installation of wind farms around Britain’s coastline, Hovercraft Rental was established to meet the demands of complex civil and marine engineering projects.

Following the successful operations in this field using the hovercraft to meet the unusual demands, further vessels have been added to meet the challenging conditions faced in building wind farms at sea. Landing craft hire was added to the business in order to supplement the unique capabilities of the hovercraft. Heavier items requiring transport to areas of shallow or drying locations can now be achieved, or up to 30 passengers transported. This craft has also been successfully used for marine survey work.

Due to demand, Hovercraft Rental are now rebuilding craft to the highest standards, back to as new condition. These craft are available for sale.
